I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Deena for over 20 years where we attended Whittier College and played collegiate softball together. Dr. Deena played a key role as one of the hardest working athletes on the team as well as one of the most active members of the Hispanic Student Association where I was the President.
I serve on the Alianza De Los Amigos which is the Hispanic Alumni Association of Whittier College, Dr. Deena is a member of this association. Dr. Deen goes above and beyond to lead by example. Her selfless nature is contagious as she is a light to all she surrounds. Those who have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Deena are fortunate to have experienced such a gentle heart as she leads with integrity and compassion.
